We are delighted to be representing a fast-growing London based insolvency practice in their search for an Insolvency Administrator to work on more investigative matters. This firm has a very strong reputation in the London market, and this is a key hire our client is seeking to make in the insolvency investigations team.

The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven insolvency professional who wants to specialise in managing cases requiring forensic investigation and litigation support.

As an Insolvency Investigations Administrator, you will work on a varied caseload of corporate appointments requiring investigation work including asset recovery actions, director misconduct investigations, and claims involving fraud or misfeasance.

You will work closely with Partners and senior stakeholders, using investigative skills to identify potential recovery actions, liaise with solicitors and barristers, and manage cases through litigation and settlement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on a portfolio of contentious insolvency cases, from investigation to asset realisation.
  • Conduct forensic investigations into the conduct of directors and others, including obtaining witness evidence and identifying claims.
  • Draft detailed reports, claims summaries, and case updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with legal advisors to progress claims and litigation proceedings where necessary.
  • Maintain strong compliance standards in line with insolvency legislation and professional regulations.
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the contentious insolvency offering.

About You:

  • Up to two years insolvency experience with an interest or some existing exposure to investigative work on corporate appointments
  • Commercially astute with a problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to case management.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and work collaboratively across teams.
