Restructuring Assistant Manager – London

An established Advisory firm is seeking a qualified finance professional to join its expanding advisory team in London. This team works to provide financial insight and support across both transactional and strategic situations.

This is a role offering exposure to a broad spectrum of work, including Transaction services and Independent business reviews

The Role:

As an Assistant Manager in the team, you’ll:

• Support and lead elements of financial due diligence assignments for both buyers and sellers in mid-market transactions.
• Prepare comprehensive Independent business review documents that clearly highlight key insights, potential concerns, and suggested actions.
• Analyse business plans, cash flow forecasts, and financial models, offering challenge and insight where appropriate.
• Draft clear, concise reports that set out findings and practical recommendations.
• Engage directly with clients and support the team in managing project delivery to a high standard.

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with experience in audit, corporate finance, or business advisory.
• Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to understand how operational activity links to financial outcomes.
• Comfortable working with financial statements, management accounts, and cash flow data.
• Solid Excel skills and a good grasp of financial modelling principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive and adaptable mindset
