The first hire – Curtis Bennett
Gambit recently made their first hire – me.
I am a specialist Corporate Finance recruiter and I joined Gambit in June 2022 to help drive the wider advisory offering to our clients. I have 4 years’ experience recruiting within M&A, Transaction Services, Modelling and Valuations and have thoroughly enjoyed learning and developing as a consultant within this space.
I joined the recruitment industry back in 2018 by moving to London from Glasgow as a fresh-faced graduate. The choice when looking for that first recruitment role can be overwhelming with so many London recruitment businesses but I was conscious about finding the right place to join.
For me, the number one most important thing was how I felt about the manager who would be teaching me the skills to be a successful recruitment consultant. Luckily, I ended up meeting with Adam and Jahmmal. From day one, I knew that these were the people I wanted to learn from. Once they started Gambit Search last year, it was only a matter of time until I’d be working with them again.
