We have partnered with a multi-award winning London boutique investment bank in their search for a talented sell-side M&A advisor to operate in their specialist healthcare team.
The role sits at the Senior VP, Associate Director or early Director level in a team spearheaded by market leading sector specialists. Your role will be to work closely with the Partners in executing sell-side healthcare deals from origination to completion.
The key is to hire a talented sell-side M&A deal operator with experience leading on private equity funded transactions. Healthcare sector experience is less important than the sell-side deal execution know how albeit you will need to demonstrate genuine interest in the healthcare services sector.
To allow for smooth deal progression, you will be able to utilise the high calibre VPs, Associates and Analysts in the healthcare team. The expectation is that you will run the deal alongside the Partners and be highly client facing throughout.
Once you’ve completed a number of deals in the healthcare team, you will be given every opportunity to build your network and work towards future promotions. There is a clear pathway for you to develop in the healthcare team and those showing commitment and a dedication in immersing in the sector will be given the platform to progress up to Partner.
Extensive sell-side deal experience is essential and the team will want to see that you have run and led on a good number of deals throughout your career so far. Healthcare sector exposure is an advantage but not essential, although an interest in specialising in healthcare services and life sciences will be important.
You will likely be working for an investment bank, a Big 4 or sizeable corporate finance independent with a desire to progress and run deals in a buoyant and highly dynamic sector.
