M&A Associate Director – Corporate Finance

We are working with a highly respected, accountancy firm to find a Lead M&A Professional to join their expanding team. This is a pivotal role based in Reading, aimed at an individual who is ready to take full ownership of transactions within a dynamic and supportive environment.

The Opportunity

This role is centred on managing and executing M&A deals from start to finish. You will lead deal teams, acting as a primary point of contact for clients, and take charge of all critical aspects of a transaction. Success in this position requires a blend of excellent technical skills, strong client-facing abilities, and a proactive mindset. The ideal candidate will also be keen to get involved in business development and help mentor junior colleagues.

Key Requirements

• A professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA).
• A proven track record of successful deal execution within a corporate finance or M&A environment.
• Demonstrable experience leading transactions, including managing client relationships and coordinating with external advisors.
• Expertise in financial analysis, valuation, and modelling.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
