An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager / Manager to join a leading offshore insolvency practice in the British Virgin Islands.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist team focused exclusively on insolvency and restructuring, working on a broad range of cross-border engagements spanning the Caribbean, Hong Kong and China. The team advises on a mix of liquidations, receiverships, solvent liquidations, asset tracing, contentious disputes and directorship appointments, often involving complex multi-jurisdictional structures and stakeholders.
The firm is looking to hire an experienced insolvency professional at Assistant Manager or Manager level as the team prepares for a number of new case appointments. This is an excellent move for someone looking to build their offshore career within a stable and well-regarded practice.
The role will involve:
- Liquidations and receiverships
- Solvent liquidations
- Asset tracing assignments
- Contentious insolvency matters
- Directorship appointments
- Cross-border casework across multiple jurisdictions
Ideal background:
- Insolvency experience across liquidations, administrations and receiverships
- CPI qualified and/or qualified accountant preferred
- Open to candidates from a range of jurisdictions
- Keen to relocate to the BVI and work on high-profile offshore matters
